Sometimes when I am in writing mode, you know, leaning in on the internal song machine and working that part of myself, I find myself being really disturbed by things like “Hollow Earth” theory. I mean, I have never been in space, or had the opportunity to actually sail exactly around the world, or even orbit anything other than a snack machine, but I am rather certain if there were another place inside the Earth, by now it might have gotten somewhat impossible to conceal. Also, there are people who totally get into the earth being flat. Now I know that is not as unusual as, say, foot fetish, i mean, you see peoples feet all the time in movies when you shouldn’t be looking at them at all, Tarantino has a bunch of feet all over the piece in his movies and i understand, i mean, i think i do, i don’t really think about feet all that often frankly but whatever, I digress. What I am trying to say is I think it is really so stupid blogging today and endlessly funny as hell that anyone in their right mind would (a.) blog or (b.) read a sleep deprived and obviously exhausted person rant about people who believe in the earth being flat or hollow.
Still that is totally f’ed up knowing that is a large part of a persons day somewhere to get all worked up on a planet being flat or not.
